Every other week, we share quick bites of Amazon seller news, tips, and other goodies. Here is a quick roundup of seller snacks to munch on:

Search Amazon with Pictures from Your Phone

Amazon just launched a really sweet feature, Amazon Lens, which makes ANY photo you take on your phone shoppable.

  1. Take a picture on your phone
  2. Go to share options
  3. Click ‘Find Product on Amazon’

This not only helps brands that struggle to rank in keywords, but it helps shoppers find any product they like, quickly.

This means more sales for you…!

This feature also works on Instagram photos.

It will slide this screen open to confirm the search:

Yo, Jass Man, any way those savings can trickle down to sellers?

What Amazon Spring Sale Shoppers Bought

Amazon’s first Spring Day Sale is in the books, and according to PYMNTS Intelligence, 28% of US consumers participated in the 3-Day Sales event.

So, what did they buy?

PYMNTS Intelligence reports that the top performing product categories were:

  • Health and Beauty
  • Clothing and Accessories
  • Tools, Hardware, and Garden Supplies
  • Consumer Electronics
  • Books, Music, Hobby, or Toys

Not sure why BABY PRODUCTS isn’t on the list. It probably crushed.
