Every other week we share quick bites of Amazon seller news, tips, and other goodies. Here is a quick roundup of seller snacks to munch on:
Amazon Adds New Search Results Features
Amazon is gradually rolling out a search results upgrade that makes it possible to select product variations from search results:
This will help boost variation sales (and overall listing ranks), as customers will see more options from the search index view.
Amazon is also rolling out a “SHOP THE BRAND” section at the bottom of search prompts.
This is great for brand owners as it protects them from copycats who try and take over search prompts.
Online Arbitrage Leads- Mars List Open
We find around 20,000 buyable online arbitrage leads per year. Our Mars-44 list currently has a few spots open.
Our other 5 lists are full. Thanks!
Amazon’s New FBA Inbound Placement Service
Amazon’s new FBA inbound placement service is live and will provide you with options to either split or consolidate your shipments.
As of March 1, if you use the Selling Partner API, you can now select your preferences:
- From the settings drop-down menu, select fulfillment by Amazon.
- Under inbound settings, click edit.
- In the inbound placement service option for the Amazon APIs section, configure your placement option preferences.
- Click update.
Take note that if you do not select a preferred inbound option, your shipments will default to the Partial Shipment splits option, which will require shipments to multiple destinations.
Seller @tonafba provides more information on shipment splits in this thread on X.
You can use the Revenue Calculator to estimate inbound placement service fees for one or multiple products.
