Are FBA Refund Providers Taking Advantage of You?

According to Eytan Wiener of GETIDA, some Amazon refund providers do.

In this LinkedIn post, Wiener explains that some Amazon refund providers have been exploiting a loophole related to Customer Returns to charge Amazon sellers for refunds Amazon was going to reimburse anyway.

According to Wiener’s breakdown, Amazon is supposed to reimburse sellers for returns refunded in which the sellers didn’t get their products back in 60 days, However, due to an internal error, Amazon ends up reimbursing the sellers their refunds in 64 days.

Some refund providers open cases with Amazon for this claim type between day 60-64, and are charging customers for reimbursements they would have gotten anyway.

Naughty, naughty.

If you are using a refund provider, make sure you watch this YouTube video to check so you can make sure you aren’t being taken advantage of.
