Amazon is The New King Kong of Deliveries

UPS and FedEx once scoffed at the idea of Amazon becoming a major player in the delivery sector. They aren’t laughing now.

Amazon will deliver 5.9 billion packages in 2023, up 13% from last year. UPS and FedEx, which delivered 5.3 billion and 3.3 billion packages in 2022, aren’t even close to reaching their own numbers

this year. Officially, Amazon has become the biggest delivery business in the U.S, and the largest shipping company in the world.

Amazon managed to reach this milestone by rewriting the rules of the delivery game

Faster deliveries = More sales

Musk, Bezos Form Unholy Alliance

Fierce rivals Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos have entered an unexpected partnership. The tech bros are collaborating on a project that will see Amazon’s Project Kuiper Satellites hitch rides on Space X’s Falcon 9 Rocket so that the satellites can be launched into low Earth orbit. There will be a total of three launches, and will start in mid-2025.

Here’s Musk and Bezos, formalizing their deal:

The collaboration is kinda odd considering that Bezos’ Project Kuiper and Musk’s Starlink are competitors in the satellite broadband market.

Perhaps another collab is coming in the ecommerce sector too?

X and Amazon??
