Every other week, we share quick bites of Amazon seller news, tips, and other goodies. The roundup of seller snacks to munch on is below, but first…I have a question.

Over at fbaleadlist.com, we have a team of 25 expert sourcers who hunt down approximately 20,000 flippable, profitable Online Arbitrage leads per year. As we continue our journey to provide valuable insights, tips, and information for eCommerce Sellers like you, we’re eager to broaden the scope of our content.

And I’d like to know what would be most beneficial for your needs. Specifically, we’re considering expanding our content in two key areas:

  1. Finding your own leads: The intricacies behind the process we use to find ~20,000 flippable product leads per year.
  2. Building a team to find more leads and scale your OA business: Our approach to hiring, training, structuring, and monitoring our sourcing team to achieve scalable results in finding OA leads.

Now onto the weekly snacks…

Amazon App’s New “Buy Again” Button

Amazon recently fully rolled out the “Buy Again” button on its mobile app.

This feature presents an opportunity for boosting customer retention and engagement.

It conveniently displays sections featuring previous purchases currently on sale or with price drops, has filters to browse your past purchases by category, and is easily accessible with a simple tap on the icon in the app’s footer menu bar.

Create Product Detail Pages with Just a URL

According to Dharmesh Mehta, VP at Amazon, sellers may soon be able to create full product detail pages by just providing a link to their own product website.

This new AI-powered feature is expected to roll out in a couple of weeks, and will definitely save sellers valuable time and effort in creating high-quality product detail pages on Amazon.

Sellers + AI = ❤️

This is just the tip of the iceberg, and we’re excited to see how deeply intertwined time/money saving automations like this become for ecommerce sellers. The kids these days don’t know how good they have it…

Some Important Amazon Seller Updates

  • Meltable Inventory – quick reminder: Amazon will not be accepting meltable inventory at their fulfillment centers between April 15 to October 15. Make sure to have all your meltable inventory removed from Amazon by April 14. You can still fulfill orders for these types of products via FBM.
  • Textbooks Now Restricted – Amazon implemented additional restrictions for textbook products on February 26. Amazon is currently not accepting applications to sell this type of product.
  • New Coupon Pricing Requirements – effective on March 12, Amazon set new coupon pricing requirements. Now, products will be required to have a sales history before being eligible to run, and the promotion price must be lower than either the “was” price or the recent lowest price.
  • Improved Benefits for New FBA Products – Amazon recently expanded benefits for new FBA products to make it easier for sellers to launch. Expanded benefits include rebate on sales, benefits for more units and extended days, and reduced IPI scores for eligibility.
  • Two-Factor Authentication – starting March 28, Amazon will be requiring you to verify your identity via mobile number or authenticator app when you log in to your Seller Central account.
  • Say Goodbye to the MYCE tool and Amazon Lending – Amazon is sunsetting the Manage Your Customer Engagement tool and Amazon Lending.
